Masing-masing sudah memiliki karier muzik cemerlang. Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, A.R Rahman dan Damian Marley bagaimanapun mengambil risiko untuk bergerak sebagai band yang dikenali "Super Heavy".
Merupakan idea Jagger dan Stewart, mereka tidak pernah menyangka band ini berupaya untuk direalisasikan atas faktor keserasian. Hasilnya, suara mereka dirakamkan dalam album yang merangkumi 12 buah lagu.
"We just were making music and if we didn't like it, then we wouldn't use it. So, you know. We just did it because we wanted to sort of do an experiment and that got more and more, sort of, developed, and more and more developed, until in the end this record appeared." - Dave Stewart
Tidak meletakkan kriteria dalam pemilihan anggota kumpulan, Jagger bagaimanapun memilih berdasarkan ego penyanyi tersebut.
"One thing serious that we did actually did think about, we didn't want people with loads of entourages and that would have too big of egos. Because in this kind of project, you have to sublimate your ego because if you are working as a group together, you have to, to some extent sublimate your ego. In this particular project even more than maybe you do in others, because everyone, no one knew what their places really were, their roles are. So everyone had to sublimate their egos to a large extent. - Mick Jagger
Album yang diberi judul "Super Heavy" itu kini sudah berada di pasaran.
